Welcome to the NEWS section. Check back for new posts relating to t-shirt culture: graphic design, screen printing, art and style.
Why a newsblog? Because we know great t-shirts start with great ideas. And since the internet is full of inspiration, we want to point out the best spots.
If you have any links that you think are post-worthy, please submit them using the NEWS LEAD form to the right.
We fixed the problem with adding the Pink Prescription tee to the shopping cart. Also, if you are shipping globally from our store, please add international shipping by clicking on the link on the bottom of the right sidebar.
Big up to Preshrunk for spotlighting our logo tee. We're selling more of the logo tee than ever before! Also send us your logo tee pictures and we will post it on our website.
Here are a couple of cool font sites to help you out in designing:
Da Font is probably the biggest collection of free fonts on the web; they have everything from midieval fonts to futuristic fonts. What's also great about Da Font is that the fonts are organized by style so its easy to find what you are looking for.
I just found this one today, called Better Fonts. So far, it looks really user-friendly and cleanly designed. There are some great free fonts on here, I like Abberancy.
Curious about the screen printing process? Here is a video on youtube from poster geniuses Aesthetic Apparatus that goes through the process quite well. Its like what we do only on t-shirts with a carousel rather than posters on a table. . . and not as much yelling. And no cowboy hats either.
Being DIY enthusiasts, we love to see tutorials that make things simple. Here is a tutorial I found on a hypebeast.com forum on screen printing. While there are a few things that I would suggest doing differently (like using Toner Aid rather than corn oil), it's a rough, but informative tutorial on amateur screen printing.
